  • Dating Differently

Planning a date. Making time for eachother. It is incredibly important to do. Yet, not always easy when you have jobs, children, a household to run, a busy social life and other fun things and obligations. So planning a date may feel like a lot of hassle: organising a babysitter, reservations at a restaurant or theatre.

But no need: how about a good date in your own home?

Set the intention of a date at home. Agree upon a few things: no TV, no phones (put the sound on silent) and what you are going to do together.

Will you cook together? Do a little winetasting on your sofa, look through old photographs together, play a board game or a whole load of them, read each other poems, either written by you or by someone else. Ask eachother about old times, really ask and be interested. Difficult to come up with questions? There are several relationship conversation starters games, which can be both fun and edifying! Listen to music, dance together. There is so much more to explore together! Time for each other will really make you appreciate eachother more, increase the sense of good times together, which will make you better equipped for hard times, if they were to come your way. Will you give it a go?
